The Kids Are All Right (22 min)
While queer youth in the Triangle live in the most liberal area of North Carolina at a time of increasing acceptance, they still face bigotry and intolerance. Local teens share their stories about friends, families, partners, and what it’s like growing up in a world that constantly challenges their identities. The Kids Are All Right is an entirely youth-directed and youth-produced project, assembled over a six-month period with the help of students from area high schools and funded through local community groups.

A Perfect Gentleman: Ernie Shore Video Project (5 min)
D. Wayne Shore and Simone Keith
He pitched three World Series victories in two years, called Babe Ruth his friend and teammate (first for the Boston Red Sox and later when both were traded to the Yankees), and on June 23, 1917, pitched a perfect game. Andy Griffith may have based his sheriff character on this Yadkin County native; Shore held the elected position of Forsyth County Sheriff from 1936 until he retired in 1970. The Winston-Salem minor league stadium is named after Shore, who died in 1980.
